About

Bowerbird Outdoors is the brainchild of Adrian Roadman. She has been adventuring with family and friends since she was young. Working as a wildlife biologist took her to remote wild places in the world, where gear needed to be cared for and repaired. She has loved sewing since she was a child, so began designing and modifying her own gear for long field seasons in the wild. She combined her love of creation and sewing with her need for gear that lasted and worked well. 

After years working in rugged areas chasing wild things, Adrian moved her career to focus on product design and development to make intentional products and manufacture goods locally instead of across the world. She started a product development company called Vannebjorn Creative and runs a domestic manufacturing facility in Utah. While we take on lots of client production sewing, Bowerbird Outdoor is the in-house brand. 

There are multitude of solutions for ultralight backpacking, alpineering, trekking, and rock climbing. Similarly, the "glamping" or RV style of recreation has seen lots of product attention and development. However, there is a middle ground of overlanding, moto-camping, car camping, van life, and other modular recreation formats that need some organization solutions. Bowerbird Outdoors is intended to provide a range of organization and gear storage solutions to better equip you to craft your own recreation style; your own outdoor adventure; your own rig and setup.
